Citrus and White + Exciting news!!

Hello Hello! How is everyone’s week going? I’ve got some exciting news! As you can probably tell by the pictures; I GOT MY HAIR CUT! I got a lot of it chopped off, and I love it! I think this hairstyle looks much better on me. I love having long hair but it’s a lot of work to do every morning. What do you guys think? Leave a comment! So on Monday my mom and I went into Vancouver to finish the last of my tourism passport, and get my official tourism card! We went for lunch at the Marriot hotel. It was absolutely fantastic! We also went to the lookout, I am afraid of heights but this experience was so much fun. You can literally see all of Vancouver, such a pretty city! Is anybody from Vancouver? Or been there before? Leave a comment!

So I got this skirt for Christmas, and I’ve been dying to wear it. Finally I pulled it out today because it was a half sunny day. I love the colour of this skirt, it’s so vibrant. I paired it with an off the shoulder top with a modern design to make it more casual and white wedges to match. The brown belt makes it a perfect day look. I skipped a purse today because I didn’t want that weight on my shoulder. I loved this look today because it was so comfortable but yet very put together. I’m definitely sure you can wear this anywhere, also you could add on a leather jacket, switch up the earrings and heels and make it a night time look.

Keep it Green!!

Hola amigas! Hope you had a good long weekend.  I definitely did, it was sunny for part of the weekend which is always nice! Did anyone go anywhere or do anything fun? Today was just a regular day, so I don’t have anything exciting to tell you. Just yesterday I added something fun to my blog, you’ll see on the right underneath “followers” is an Eiffel tower if you click on that it will take you to the “bloglovin” site. I added my blog there so it would be easier for everyone to read. If you like you can follow me there. I hope this makes it easier. By the way do you like my layout? I think it’s time for something new. Leave a comment and let me know what you think!

These pants are so comfy, they are the best! I know the military trend is slowly dying but I still love these pants! LOL. I chose a white blouse for this outfit to keep it simple and clean. Dark purple also looks good with these pants, but I was going for a different look. I added a pair of nude heels to complete the look. The outfit needed a punch so the clutch was perfect for that. I love the detail in this clutch as well as the colour. Green and yellow go together nicely. This is a great first date look because you don’t want to look like your trying too hard, but you still want to look pulled together.

A touch of Aqua

Happy Sunday!!! I love Sundays but I never get to enjoy them because I work all day Sunday. How was everybody else’s day? Yesterday night a bunch of my friends and I walked our dogs along the dike. Plus we had a little campfire, makes me think of those late summer nights! Has anyone else done any exciting summer things? Its getting super close now! I heard the waterslides are going to open, and the nights are brighter longer. I love it! What’s your favourite part about summer? Leave a comment!!

In this outfit I worked all around the skirt. I love the contrast in the skirt because of it’s boxy bottom it makes it look heavy, but the skirt has pouf so it adds a little girly touch. I paired it with a black lacy top. To define my waist I put on a belt and tucked in the top so you could see the belt! This outfit needed a spring touch so I added some aqua, I’ve been seeing aqua everywhere for spring. I love the chunkiness of the necklace, do you? And last but not least a patented clutch to give the outfit a shine.

Simply White

Helloooooo out there! I am so terribly sorry that I haven’t posted in a while. Life has been so crazy, its been work 24/7! But that’s okay, I’m here now and ready to post more for everyone. On Wednesday my friend and I took the sky train into Vancouver and did all the touristy things. For example the aquarium, the horse drawn carriage tours, and the Vancouver trolley. We also went for lunch at the Herons West Coast Kitchen at The Fairmont Waterfront. The food was spectacular, definitely worth it. If you ever go to Vancouver I would 100% recommend eating there, the food was to die for! And of course we did a little shopping on Robson. Such a fun day! My friend and I were talking about how we never do touristy thing in our own town. When we go to other cities/countries you always do touristy things, but you never exactly know what’s in your own city. Funny eh? So it was great to see the touristy side of the city. What about everyone else? Do you do touristy things in your city? Leave a comment, I’d LOVE to know!

So the sheer skirt maxi dress has been super popular this season for spring and I love the trend. I just had to try it out for myself. I have to say this outfit was super comfortable. I added the vest because the outfit needed a kick, and I think the vest gave it exactly what it needed. I was trying to keep the outfit casual so I added a brown belt. Brown is more for daytime and black is for night time. If you wanted to wear this dress out at night I would probably switch to a black belt and add a leather jacket. The brown snakeskin purse pulls everything together. The nude wedges were a must because I am short and I needed to look tall somehow! Maxi dresses can swallow short girls so nude shoes give the impression that you actually have a leg! LOL! The wedge is more daytime as well. I wanted to add some colour so I added some bulky bracelets and blue earrings to match. This outfit is so much fun and I would probably wear it anywhere and everywhere, just to be specific!!! :)
